Join us at 7:00 pm in the visitor center for a photography workshop to learn how to capture amazing images of the night sky at Utah’s newest International Dark Sky Park! We will go over basic techniques, as well as some more advanced options. We will be lead by award winning night sky photographers Bettymaya Foott of the Colorado Plateau Dark Sky Cooperative and Marc Toso of Ancient Skies Photography. As part of the indoor discussion, we will learn about how to get involved in dark sky conservation from the International Dark Sky Association Salt Lake City chapter lead Jess Dwyer. After the indoor discussion, we will head outside to shoot the milky way. This event is free, although park entrance fees apply. To register for this event, click here.
