It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. The French Revolution took its toll on the aristocracy and the peasantry alike. Throughout the streets of England, the beginnings of a mysterious tale are about to unfold. CenterPoint Legacy Theatre proudly presents this celebrated work of English literature by the esteemed Charles Dickens.

Dr. Mannette’s release from prison is just as mysterious as his imprisonment in the first place. Reunited with his daughter Lucie, the Mannette family is sure that they will live out a peaceful life. Fate has other plans for them. Told through hauntingly beautiful music A Tale of Two Cities glimpses into the lives of some of the men and women entangled by the revolution.

Directed by Scott Montgomery, Musically Directed by Marcie Jacobson, Choreographed by Marilyn Montgomery and played by 2 entertaining casts, this production of “A Tale of Two Cities” is a chilling, yet exquisite piece of historical fiction that will immerse audiences into this fascinating world.


A Tale of Two Cities runs September 29 – October 28 with shows running Monday through Saturday – at 7:00 pm, with Matinees on Saturdays.
